Collaborative Robots for Smart Manufacturing - ColRobot presents its advances at FAIM 2017

Next 27-30 July 2017, ColRobot partners are organising a session on Collaborative Robotics at FAIM 2017 - 27th International Conference on Flexible Automation and Intelligent Manufacturing (Modena, Italy).

The session on Collaborative Robots for Smart Manufacturing will be chaired by Prof. Pedro Neto (University of Coimbra). The session will gather researchers and practitioners from industry and academia specialising in robotics, automation, intelligent manufacturing and other related engineering disciplines.

ColRobot Automotive Use Case Meeting

Last 15th and 16th December 2016, the ColRobot Consortium hold a project meeting to discuss the specifications for the automotive use-case and issues related to robot navigation and localisation.Work is progressing and the Consortium is a step closer to the definition of the robotic mobile platform demonstrator. The meeting included workshops, lab visits and a small-scale demo. INESC TEC hosted the event at the Campus da FEUP in Porto, Portugal.

ColRobot Technical workshop on Human-machine interfaces

Intuitive human-machine interfaces (HMIs) have experienced a great evolution in the last decades. Accurate, reliable, multimodal, with integrated processing and relatively inexpensive sensors have contributed decisively to the development of HMIs. The HMI of a given equipment is today a key element to the acceptance of such equipment by the end-users.

ColRobot Flyer and Poster now available !

The ColRobot project flyer and poster are ready for download here. They present a summary of the project concept, objectives and planned impacts, with a focus on the project case studies.The flyer will be available to the public during all the events implemented during the ColRobot project.

ColRobot progress meeting at Fraunhofer IFF

The H2020 ColRobot General Assembly is started. A two day meeting to discuss specs, applications and demonstrators.

The meeting is aimed at reviewing progress and preliminary results and at planning next activities to develop collaborative robotics demonstrators for kitting and assembly operations in automotive & space industries

The meeting was held in Magdeburg and hosted by Fraunhofer IFF.
